Adnan Ouedraogo​

The purpose of this page is to showcase, what sets me apart from other sports managers and therefore makes me a unique addition to any kind of sports organisation.

 

 

Personally, I believe that I am a very creative person, which gives me the opportunity to look at problems from many different angles and bring up many different solutions. This is probably due to the case that I am left-handed, because left-handed people tend to have less logical understanding (left side of the brain) but more creativity. However, while logical understanding and problem solving can be trained, creativity is inborn. That is why comparably many famous politicians and scientists (Albert Einstein, Barack Obama etc.) are left-handed. Being creative also helps me in creating professional designs for logos, posters and flyers, which is a skill that I have already obtained in my secondary school, which had a focus on design. 

 

Further, I think that I am passionate about projects, I am able to take responsibility within a group and I am not afraid of stating my opinion or stepping up if I am not satisfied within a working process. Moreover, I am reliable and meet the required deadlines, because I am always willing to do my best for the team that I am part of. In my opinion it is part of the attitude of "leading by example" to strive for best results and being reliable, before requiring this behaviour from others.

 

The third major asset to my character is that I am a relaxed funny and outgoing person and therefore I am able to spread a positive vibe during meetings. Furthermore, the Martial Arts classes, as part of my studies gave me the inner peace to be more confident under pressure and to deal with certain situations in a calm and analytical way. My communication skills in English have majorly improved, through events such as the "virtual open day" of the "Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences". Nevertheless, my general understanding of socio-economic and political topics and my common sense, make it easy for me to communicate within a business set-up.
